The coffee crops' harvested from Cooperativa Agricola de Servicisios Norandino, Piura, Amazonas, Peru. What you will come to appreciate is its delicate silky sweet taste. A surprising brown sugar, caramel, a bit of root beer sweetness, a hint of citrus near the end tone, and the aftertaste. We have chosen a variety of Arabica beans [Caturra, Bourbon, Catuai, Pache, & Catimor] to fully feature what Peru coffee can taste like. It has the expected sweetness of a South American coffee with a hint of fruit brightness and very delicate smoothness that only Peru coffee can bring.
Details: Sourced from Cooperativa Agrícola de Servicios Múltiples Norandino (Norandino), an umbrella organization established in 2005 to support a sustainable coffee supply from three coffee producers cooperatives in northern regions of Peru: CEPICAFE, CENFROCAFE, and Sol y Café.
Coffee producers receive training and technical assistance in land management, irrigation, organic farming, productivity and quality control, and reforestation programs.
Norandino also seeks to improve the quality of life for coffee producers and their families through projects promoting commercial diversification.
